What does a local government look like when it’s intentional about supporting the successes of women?   In honor of Women’s Equality Day, NYCOM’s Women’s Advisory Committee will spotlight the City of Batavia and the women helping shape its future.  Through a conversation with the women in key city roles, we’ll explore how Batavia is advancing gender equity through leadership development, inclusive workplace practices, and community-focused initiatives.  From mentorship and representation to strategic investments and culture change, Batavia is taking concrete steps to create an environment where women can grow, lead, and thrive.

Whether you're looking for ideas to bring back to your own municipality or want to celebrate what’s possible when equity is a local priority, this session will offer insight, inspiration, and a closer look at a city committed to leveling the playing field.
