Powering New York: Updates and Opportunities
with NYSEG and RG&E

Wednesday, October 29, 2025 | 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

NYSEG and RG&E serve a service territory including over 190 cities and villages across 40 percent of upstate New York, making them a critical partner for local governments.  On June 30th, the companies filed their Powering New York plan with the Public Service Commission, which outlines major investments to modernize the grid, expand capacity to meet growing energy demand, and comply with new state requirements.  This session will provide municipal leaders with timely information relating to the filing, including proposed delivery rate changes, funding for infrastructure upgrades, and resources available to assist communities.  NYSEG and RG&E leadership will also share how they plan to partner with local governments to ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable service for residents and businesses.

This webinar is FREE to NYCOM members, although registration is required.  A recording of the webinar will be provided to registrants following completion of the webinar.

Please Note: In order to complete your registration for the webinar, you must click ‘Place Order.’  You will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration along with a separate email from Zoom, containing your link to access the webinar.

Elected Officials can earn Elected Officials Academy credits for participation in this webinar series.
