Clean energy development, including energy storage, presents a major opportunity for villages and cities to reduce energy costs, create jobs, and strengthen infrastructure.  But local governments often face complex challenges in siting, permitting, zoning, and environmental review.  In this session, NYSERDA will walk through the resources, best practices, and technical assistance available to simplify and streamline energy storage siting and permitting in your community.  Local leaders will learn about recent New York State Fire Code updates, how to navigate state versus local permitting, and otherwise safely permit energy storage systems in their communities.

This webinar is FREE to NYCOM members, although registration is required.  A recording of the webinar will be provided to registrants following completion of the webinar.
