The Vendor Throwdown: Pitch It or Get Gonged
Forget the traditional vendor presentation! The Vendor Gong Show gives exhibitors a limited amount of time to showcase their product or service to public works professionals in a way that is fun, fast, energetic and creative. Whether it’s a clever demonstration, an unforgettable pitch or a unique way to show how their solution can make the job easier, vendors will have to grab the audience’s attention — and keep it!

But beware: if the presentation falls flat, the gong comes out! At the end of the competition, one vendor will be crowned Best in Show for delivering the most engaging, creative and memorable presentation.

Set-Up: Monday, October 19th after 7:30 a.m. (All exhibits must be set up by 9:00 a.m.)
Breakdown: Wednesday, October 21st after 10:30 a.m. (All exhibits must be removed by 12:30 p.m.)

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
All exhibitor and sponsorship payments must be received BY October 7, 2026, or your booth/sponsorship will be forfeited. For any cancellations after September 30, 2026, your company will be charged a $250 processing fee and any purchased meals are non-refundable. For cancellations after October 7th or no-shows, there will be NO refunds for your exhibitor, sponsorship, or advertising registration.

Monday's Welcome Reception and Tuesday's Reception at Mt. Van Hoevenberg (up to two employees per booth) are included with your exhibitor fee. 

If your employees would like to participate in conference meal functions, please purchase your meal package when registering.

TENTATIVE AGENDA

 

The High Peaks Resort is the meeting headquarters for the 2026 Public Works Training School. All sessions and meals are held at the High Peaks Resort.  Meeting registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and training sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 19th.

ROOM RATES AND RESERVATIONS

Room reservations must be made BY OCTOBER 4, 2026, after which time the room block will be released and reservations will be accepted based on availability.

SOLD OUT - HIGH PEAKS RESORT ROOM RATES:
Single: $189 +tax per per night
Double: $189 +tax  ($94.50 + $94.50 +tax per person/per night)

BOOKING
To book online use the following LINK.  To make reservations by phone, call the High Peaks Resort at (800) 755-5598. You MUST reference the conference group code "NY Conference of Mayors" to receive the group rate. A credit card, valid at the time of the conference, is required to book a reservation. Final payment is due at checkout via credit card, debit card, or check. Please note: all guests must present a credit or debit card at the time of check-in to cover any remaining balance owed or incidental charges.  

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to arrival and payment in full will be charged to the credit card.
