GENERAL INFORMATION
TENTATIVE AGENDA

This year the NYCOM Public Works Training School will take place at the Fort William Henry Hotel. Sessions and all meals will be located at the Fort William Henry Conference Center. 

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION RATE:
FULL PROGRAM: $375

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
  • Monday Welcome Reception
  • Conference Materials
  • Participation in All Training Sessions and Tradeshow Breaks

Registrations received after September 15th will increase by $15 for members and $30 for non-members.


CONFERENCE MEAL PACKAGE:
FULL MEAL PACKAGE: $150

MEAL PACKAGE INCLUDES:
  • LUNCH: Monday and Tuesday (Banquet)
  • DINNER BOAT CRUISE: Tuesday

BREAKFAST is included with your conference host hotel stay. There will be a 15% surcharge for onsite meal purchases.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds will be made in full for the conference registration fee, dinner packages and add-on guest meals ONLY if you notify NYCOM no later than September 23, 2025. For cancellations AFTER September 23th there will be a $100 administrative fee and any conference meals purchased (including add-on guest meals) are non-refundable. No-shows are also non-refundable (those not paid in advance will be invoiced following the conference).

POLICY ON ACCESS FOR THE DISABLED
The Conference of Mayors makes every effort to plan meetings that are accessible to the disabled. NYCOM requests advance notice from the registrant (including on-site registrants) so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

The attire for the meeting is casual.

AUTHORITY TO ATTEND
Local official attendance at this training event is permitted by General Municipal Law § 77-b(2), which permits a city or village to authorize attendance by “any of its members or any officer or employee … or other person who has been elected pursuant to law to a public office of a municipality for which the term of office has not commenced….” Local officials are entitled to be reimbursed for all actual and necessary costs incurred while attending this program."

TENTATIVE AGENDA

The Fort William Henry Hotel is the meeting headquarters for the 2025 Public Works Training School. All sessions and meals are held at the Fort William Henry Conference Center.  Meeting registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and training sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 6th.

MUNICIPAL ATTENDEE ROOM RATES AND RESERVATIONS

Room reservations must be made BY SEPTEMBER 15, 2025, after which time the room block will be released and reservations will be accepted based on availability.

FORT WILLIAM HENRY HOTEL ROOM RATES (BREAKFAST is included in hotel rate):
Single: $202 per person/per night
Double: $202 ($101. + $101. per person/per night)

For municipal officials who are bringing a non-municipal guest and your guest would like to participate in meals, please purchase a full Meal Package for them during the meeting registration process.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to arrival. Guests who cancel prior to the 72 hours will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.
